8:30 REGISTRATION / 9:00 PROGRAM Ms. Lisa Swem of the Thrun Law Firm will be the presenter. Ms. Swem will present both legal and practical information on teacher evaluations and implementing the recent legislation, including: how did we get here; what do we have - RSC § 1249: Evaluations, RSC § 1250: Compensation; and SSAA § 94a: Teacher Identifier System; the collective bargaining implications, the impact on the Michigan Teachers' Tenure Act, and the required documentation and personnel records.
